The author, Max Velthuijs, is considered to be one of Holland’s most important creators of children’s books. He won the highly prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Medal, the highest recognition for a writer of children’s books, for the Frog stories in 2004.
Frog is frog 1st series is considered as the best achievement of all the frog series.
